Reach out to me today to start planning your dream event! ​ Chef Kathy All About Me Chef Kathy Aikens began her career in the culinary industry after completing her training in culinary school in Portland, Oregon, primarily concentrating on Italian and French cuisine. Shortly after completing her training, she opened Royal Crumb Catering and catered to many Washington Wineries, weddings, private gatherings as well as corporate events. ​ With a passion of owning her own business, she opened Pasta Gigi's Italian Bistro in Washington State serving authentic Italian cuisine for many years. ​ Kathy was born and raised in north Texas living in small rural farm communities and went to college in Abilene, Texas. Kathy then spent 14 years living in Alaska where she was able to travel to many remote areas of the state experiencing the wildlife of Alaska while fishing and hunting as well as the local cuisines. She then moved to Washington State for 17 years where she opened her businesses and started on her culinary path. After culinary school and running her catering business, Kathy purchased a small delicatessen called Pasta Gigi's which she later turned into an Italian restaurant. Kathy, along with her family, decided in 2021 to move back to her home state of Texas to be closer to her mother and extended family.
